Marc Canter
Broadband Mechanics

Marc Canter is CEO of Broadband Mechanics, a company which is “bringing social to software”. Marc’s background is that he started a company called MacroMind - which became Macromedia - so he’s been in the software business for 23 years - and counting.

Marc’s focus has been on open standards and the burgeoning world of open social networking. Panels, speeches, lectures, rants and embarrassing questions are his techniques to bring these issues up in public - around the world.

A recent DataSharingSummit brought together many of the players in this world - organized by Marc.

Broadband Mechanics’ open platform - PeopleAggregator - is a white label solution available in source code or SaaS models.
